About the event
Join us for a heart opening ceremony with yoga and cacao. We will drink a cup of ceremonial cacao, set intentions and move, breathe and meditate together.
Cacao grows in Central and South America and it has been used for thousands of years by the Aztecs and the Mayans in ceremonies, because of its incredible medicinal benefits. The cacao we will be drinking on this day is imported directly from Costa Rica and it is some of the highest raw quality to make sure that all the nutrient and health promoting properties.
After opening the ceremony and setting our intentions, we will start our yoga sequence. I will first guide us into a yang flow with lots of dynamic movements aimed to create space within the body. We will feel the energy from the cacao and work with it to open up our heart center in different asanas. There will be lots of creative play and movement.
From here, we will slowly transition into a yin yoga flow where we will find stillness in the body and the mind. We will feel the energy created by cacao, movements and breath. This will be the time to go deep into the intuition and explore what you can let go of in order to create space for something new in your life.
We will end with a guided meditation and create space for being and receiving.
After a closing circle, we will have tea and snacks.
* Let me know in advance, if you take any antidepressant medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
