About the Event
This is a 2-day retreat in nature where we depart from Aarhus and hike all the way to Skanderborg. There is a stopover halfway through the hike where we will sleep in shelters before we continue the hike the next day. The intention is to get outside, move our bodies, sleep in nature, practice yoga and meet new people.
Day 1: We start the day with a morning meditation and an opening circle. Then we embark on the hike with a guided walking meditation. After a few hours, we will serve you lunch in a beautiful location near Brabrand Lake. Afterward, we will continue the hike until we reach our shelter place. We will have an afternoon yoga session, a few activities and then we will cook dinner on the fire together. After dinner, there will be time to just hang out and get to know each other before we sleep in the shelters.
Day 2: We start the day with a morning yoga session, make breakfast, continue our hike through the beautiful nature, and then we take the train back to Aarhus from Skanderborg together at around noon. Train tickets are not included in the price.

What to bring:
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Yoga mat (or use the sleeping pad)
- Practical clothes to all kinds of weather (layers)
- Reusable bowl and cup (if you have some)
- Money for the train back
Who are we?
I love to share my passion for adventure, movement, and meditation. I have been teaching yoga since 2015 and I especially love to practice with people in nature. Previously, I have guided weekly hikes to waterfalls in Costa Rica for a year, while facilitating classes, retreats, and workshops. I am interested in conscious culture creation, and I am currently finishing a master’s degree in anthropology.
I have hiked a lot in countries like Sweden, Norway, Japan, Great Britain, and Germany. I have been an active scout for many years and I am passionate about nature, fishing, and outdoor life. I am very interested in the mind-body connection and combining the impact that both nature and movement have on consciousness. Professionally, I am working with circular economy and soil, groundwater, and surface water pollution in a consultancy.

Reservations for this event are nonrefundable, however if you are unable to attend you can transfer your ticket to a friend.
